The front office is perhaps the most important area of a hotel for many reasons, not least of which is the fact that it is the prime cash generator for the property via hotel room sales. It also plays the role of help and information desk, providing services such as mail handling, faxes and messages, as well as giving guests tips on everything from the hotel restaurant to special attractions or events.
